Location: 5757 W Touhy Ave. Niles, IL (On-Site)
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday | 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $18–$20 per hour (based on experience)
Berman Auto Group is seeking a Part-Time HR Assistant to support daily HR and administrative functions. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and comfortable working with payroll systems and spreadsheets.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with payroll processing and related administrative tasks
- Support HR functions including employee records, onboarding, and documentation
- Perform general clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and record maintenance
- Maintain and update HR spreadsheets and reports using Excel and Google Workspace
- Assist with timekeeping, attendance tracking, and internal reporting
- Support compliance with company policies and procedures
- Handle miscellaneous HR projects and administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications
- HR experience required
- Must be able to work the scheduled days and hours (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM)
- Experience with Paylocity strongly preferred
- Previous payroll experience preferred
- Union experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace (G-Suite)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work on-site consistently
