At Benz, you will enjoy 4 weeks of paid time off, including: office closures twice a year; 401K matching up to 4% + annual review with a certified financial planner; medical, dental and vision benefits; 10 hours a year of volunteer time off; company provided lunches; fully stocked kitchen; monthly onsite massages; and most importantly a remarkable group of colleagues. At Benz, we firmly believe in the value of investing in our team and also offer additional opportunities for coaching, mentoring, and skills training.

Job Description

Our ongoing success as a company has been built on our national reputation as industry thought leaders, our deep subject matter expertise, and our unique approach to results-driven, employee-focused communication. We are a creative group of trailblazers set on transforming employee benefits, and we’re looking for a like-minded individual who’s looking to raise the bar. As our Business Development and Marketing Specialist, you will be the embodiment and evangelist of the brand. You’ll create lasting impressions among prospective clients and strategic marketing partners. This means ensuring our marketing initiatives align with our business goals and reflect our company core values. You will work closely with our Founders and senior leadership. Your work will expand our impact and presence nationally through engagement in industry conferences, webinars and strategic partnerships. You will help ensure our event participation nurtures and sustains our long-standing relationships and partnerships.

In a given week you will be juggling numerous projects. You’ll be the first touchpoint for in-bound leads, the resident expert of our CRM system, and our events coordinator extraordinaire. You’ll work closely with our Marketing Manager, executing integrated marketing campaigns—including customer success stories, and email promotions—as well as supporting colleagues with their industry speaking engagements and events with strategic partners. You will actively support and collaborate with our business development and marketing teams. Assignments, tasks, and ongoing projects will range from strategic planning to detail-oriented project management. You will continue to look for opportunities to expand your impact, and explore and refine the skills you'd like to hone.

You will thrive if you are proactive, fearlessly inquisitive, a quick study, and employ creative problem solving. Follow-through and taking responsibility for projects is imperative. You should be able to work well on a team—including third-party marketing partners—but also able to work independently. You will show flexibility and an ability to work collaboratively under pressure. Being able to prioritize and summarize what is important across many projects simultaneously within dynamic, often-challenging scenarios is critical.
