Ownership for the management and conversion of all enquiries from start to end, (check availability, rate offer, room block, follow-up, site inspection, competition check, close and win business).
Coordination of all customer requirements, including communication and completing verbally and in writing with the customer the details of an event up to handover to operations on the day of the event execution.
Effectively manages bedrooms blocks and meeting space inventory for assigned groups.
Knowledge of hotel opera and other hotel tools is a huge advantage.
Sell to meet pre-determined event and group strategy.
Generate incremental revenue and deliver excellent guest service.
Function sheet meeting to highlight and share clearly with all departments the upcoming events.
Proactively resolicits previous customers and event bookers for future opportunities.
Invoicing and payment follow-up
Handle corporate reservations and participate in sales activities (events, Blitz).
Delivers a compelling sales experience to drive conversion and repeat business.
Provides appropriate feedback to overcome obstacles to selling, including pricing, inventory availability and event execution.
Effectively up sells products and services throughout the event process.
Actively solicits feedback from the hotel departments to identify areas for improvement to enhance guest experience.
Minimum 1 year experience in a similar job with a hotel management degree.
