For our Moxy Hotels in Germany we are looking for a REVENUE MANAGER GERMANY.

REVENUE MANAGER – for the German market

In this role you will be assigned to manage the daily Revenue Management operations and develop the long term strategy for our Moxy hotels in Germany, currently 3 in operation and 3 more to open in 2017. You team up with the Sales Manager Germany to develop and execute profitable top line strategies for the hotels in these gateway markets. You are the expert on the local market dynamics and able to proactively respond to changing demand patterns. You are in close touch with the property leaders and ensures that these hotels are receiving their revenue management services on a daily basis. You seamlessly integrate people, processes and systems in pricing and inventory strategies.

SUMMARY OF TASKS

· Oversee revenue management activities including daily reporting and inventory management.

· Responsible for balancing the financial objectives of different lodging products to maximize total revenues.

· Accountable for pricing, positioning and inventory of all hotels within the market.

· 18 Month total hotel revenue forecasting / annual budgeting and target setting.

· Identify need periods and anticipate adequately.

· Analyzing the changing dynamics in the distribution landscape and actively seeking new strategies to deliver profitable revenue.

· Produce, analyze reports and pro-actively anticipate on changing needs and opportunities.

· Analyze benchmark information to assist in development of RevPAR Index forecasts.

· Assist hotels with pricing and provides input on business evaluation recommendations.

· Analyze competitive sets, price positioning, seasonality, mix and displacement on a continuous basis.

· Hold weekly Sales Strategy Meetings with stakeholders.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with counterparts and partners.

· Assist in new hotel activations.

Qualifications

· 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics or Hotel and Restaurant Management

· 2 – 4 year experience in Hotel Revenue Management

· Proven record of strong technical and business acumen

· Familiar with the Marriott Revenue Management systems, tools and philosophy is plus

· Fluent command in English written and spoken. Knowledge of German is very welcome

· Have knowledge of at least one major German Market, (Frankfurt, Munich or Berlin)

· Good presentations skills and ability to present complex analysis to actionable strategies.

· Meticulous planner and deliver before the deadlines.

· Ability to quickly learn new and multiple markets and understand the different dynamics

· Affinity with Moxy DIY Concept and next generation travelers.

Additional Information

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

The position is based in Amsterdam. Some travel is required to different German cities 10-15% of your time. 

Home based in Germany can be discussed.
