Job Description

The Production Associate supports daily production operations within the metal foundry to ensure efficient workflow, quality standards, and production targets are achieved. This role assists with production planning, scheduling, inventory coordination, shipping and workforce management while maintaining accurate operational records. The Production Associate works closely with production teams, warehouse personnel, sales, and shipping departments to ensure orders are completed on schedule and operational processes run smoothly from start to finish in the following areas

Production Planning & Operations

Inventory & Materials Management

Production Documentation & Reporting

Workforce Coordination

Cross-Department Coordination

Safety & Compliance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent industry experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or metal foundry operations preferred.
  • Experience with production scheduling, inventory tracking, and operational reporting.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in ERP or production management systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Business Central, Dynamics).

  • Work performed in a metal foundry manufacturing environment and offices.
  • Exposure to heat, dust, noise, and heavy machinery.
  • Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed boots, and hearing protection.
  • May require standing, walking, and supervising production floor activities for extended periods.
