Job Description

The Operational Insights Analyst will play a key role within Sentric's Operational Insights team, sitting within the Revenue Optimization Department. Working closely with the Copyright, Royalties and Insights teams, this role combines data analysis, audit activity and reporting to help drive registration accuracy, royalty performance and operational efficiency across the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Audit & Revenue Optimisation

  • Support the delivery of royalty audits to identify gaps in royalty collection and revenue potential

  • Analyse data from multiple sources to surface actionable findings and flag discrepancies

  • Assist in tracking and following up on audit outcomes to ensure issues are resolved and revenue is recovered

  • Contribute to the development and refinement of audit frameworks and methodologies

Insights & Reporting

  • Build, maintain and iterate on operational dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision making across the business

  • Work with the Rights and Royalties teams to translate operational questions into clear analytical outputs

  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, highlighting trends and anomalies

  • Present findings in a clear, concise format to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Data & Process

  • Query and extract data from large, complex datasets using SQL to support both audit and insights workstreams

  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, automate recurring tasks and standardise reporting processes

  • Support the wider team in maintaining a consistent approach to data analytics and a single source of truth

 

Qualifications

 

  • At least 2 years of experience in a data analysis, audit or reporting role, ideally within the music, media or entertainment industry

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate findings clearly

  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and extraction

  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams

  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

  • A genuine interest in music rights, royalties or the wider entertainment industry is a plus
