Job Description

Under the responsibility of the M&A Director, the M&A Senior Manager will play a crucial role in developing and implementing the Group’s acquisition strategy. You will contribute to establishing strategic partnerships and driving inorganic growth within a vibrant, creative ecosystem, and acting as a key advisor to senior executives, entrepreneurs, and shareholders.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic stakeholder Alignment

  • Ensure seamless consistency between central Business Line strategies, local operations& opportunities and the Group’s global pillars & value creation objectives.

  • Partner with Business Lines leadership and Country GMs to support the M&A strategy & roadmap, building consensus and ensuring strategic alignment  across the organization

Deal strategy, sourcing & qualification:

  • Drive the deal pipeline by identifying and vetting targets aligned with the Group’s strategy, central Business lines, and local units’ growth levers

  • Develop and implement rigorous scoring frameworks, assessing criteria to prioritize acquisition targets

Deal execution:

  • Execute comprehensive financial analyses. You bring a "hands-on" approach to our deal flow, showcasing a talent for "financial archaeology", extracting value and clarity from raw data to support informed decision-making in a fast-paced, small-cap environment

  • Coordinate and oversee the conduct of the due diligence process, including business, financial, IP, legal, and tax reviews

  • Prepare detailed investment memoranda and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, and recommendations to executive leadership 

  • Draft NBOs, Term Sheets, and lead in negotiating the deal structure, governance and legal documentation (e.g. SHA, SPA), with the assistance of the Senior M&A lawyer

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Business, Legal, Finance and Product) to ensure thorough strategic vision, negotiation, execution of transactions and anticipate integration of the targets in close collaboration with the PMI team

 

Qualifications

 

  • Education: Graduate of a top-tier Business or Engineering School.

  • Experience: 

    • You have at least 9 years of experience in M&A advisory/Investment Banking), Corporate M&A, Transaction Services, or Private Equity

    • Proven track record of successfully closed transactions (small to large cap)

  • Hard Skills : 

    • Strong commercial judgement with proven negotiation capability

    • Able to operate credibly with entrepreneurs, senior executives and investors

    • Advanced understanding of complex legal and tax deal structure

    • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides.

    • Excellent financial, valuation and strategic analysis skills

    • Fluent English (both written and spoken); proficiency in a second language is an advantage

  • Soft Skills : 

    • You thrive in a fast-paced, creative industry (Music/Entertainment). You have a pedagogical mindset, able to translate complex financial stakes into clear, simple concepts for stakeholders and entrepreneurs

    • Strategic Leadership: Ability to influence and drive decision-making

    • Critical thinking: Capacity to challenge subject matter experts and stakeholders effectively
