Job Description

The Head of Sales & Distribution ID-MY-SG defines and implements the local distribution sales and acquisitions strategy for artists, labels, and large content producers. 

You will lead the management of a sales & serve team to ensure we deliver an excellent service and maximize the satisfaction of our network of clients and grow it accordingly.

Thanks to your excellent analytical capabilities, you will be able to conduct projection of your business, deliver the set budget, analyze the performance and report trends to the local General Manager.

Mission

1) Sales & Sourcing Strategy Definition and Execution

  • Define and implement distribution strategy for the department
  • Work with Senior Management to determine business objectives
  • Initiate and close complex distribution deals covering aspects such as legal, financial, marketing & communication components
  • Be responsible of all sales process and executions (CRM, contract signatures, clients onboarding, etc)
  • Identify new business and upsell opportunities
  • Ensure client portfolio renewal
  • Create and maintain an excellent network of music industry relations

2) Grow and retain your portfolio, and ensure Client Satisfaction and Success

  • Make sure we deliver the right level of service to labels and artists, in terms of distribution, marketing and audience development 
  • Ensure focus on the right priorities in line with business objectives and portfolio strategy
  • Monitor perfect strategy execution and define local adaptation 

3) Team Management

  • Hire, assess and provide day to day support to team members
  • Work closely with your Sales Support Team and HR to ensure Team training, on-boarding and perfect understanding of Believe Driving Forces, Tools, Process and workflow
  • Manage the team objectives and ensure objectives full execution
  • Create a team dynamic and career development plans for collaborators
  • Be problem solver and resolve conflicting situation
  • Ensure cross functional team collaboration
  • Manage all HR related topics

4) Local Retailers relationships

  • Develop best relationships with local retailers and social media reps

5) Business Line Management

  • Develop solid business and finance analytical skills
  • Capture and formulate market evolution key drivers
  • Project, defend & execute yearly Budget
  • Deliver regular internal & external Business Reviews and Strategy Execution Reviews
  • Own and manage the full LAS Business Line P&L

Qualifications

  • Sales and Serve people management experience and strong leadership skills
  • Strong sales orientation with a demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Good understanding of the music industry and the copyright ecosystem.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new environments.
  • Demonstrates passion, integrity, and transparency, with a strong commitment to D&I, and continuous self-development.
  • Exhibits managerial courage, inspires and motivates teams, fosters talent development, encourages cross-functional collaboration, and drives strategic vision.
  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English
