Job Description

As the Learning and Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of cultivating a culture of continuous growth and excellence at Believe.

Your role encompasses not only the strategic design and implementation of learning initiatives but also the hands-on creation of in-house content and delivery of programs.

You will be instrumental in fostering talent development and succession readiness. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to shape the learning landscape, driving organizational success through the empowerment of our most valuable asset - our people.

This role will report to the Senior HR Business Partner.

Responsibilities:

Local Learning and Development Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for in-house learning and development.
  • Facilitate in-house training sessions, workshops, and seminars, ensuring an interactive and impactful learning experience.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance in-house learning materials to meet evolving business needs.
  • Develop and implement metrics & reporting to measure learning effectiveness.

Local Training Needs Identification (TNI):

  • Develop tailored in-house training modules and resources, addressing identified gaps and ensuring technical depth in content.
  • Collaborate closely with department heads and employees to formulate personalized Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to guide employees through their development journey, emphasizing skill development and career growth.

Talent Management and Succession Planning:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including 9-box assessments, to identify both organizational and individual training needs.
  • Develop and oversee an in-depth, in-house succession planning program, integrating technical proficiency and leadership readiness.
  • Create and deliver specialized training programs to prepare identified successors for key roles.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership to ensure a seamless transition through targeted mentorship and development initiatives.

Collaborate with Global L&D Organization

  • Share any information centrally regards to local specificities and needs in order to best decide if and how it should be integrated to the global offer.
  • Cascade all relevant central information locally.

Qualifications

  • If you see yourself in this position along with 7-9 years of experience in the skills development field or change management, this job is made for you!
  • You are fluent in English, both oral and written. Additional language is a plus.
  • You are known for your ability to listen, analyze and quickly adapt.
  • You are proactive, you have a lot of new ideas to share and you know how to embark teams in large-scale, innovative projects.
  • You are convinced that formal training is not the only solution to learn and you would like to promote and implement all kind of learning solutions in the organization.
  • You have a strong team spirit and know how to efficiently collaborate with multiple cultures and delocalized teams.

Additional information

Skills Required:

  • Interest or experience in supporting Human Resources or Development
  • Highly ethical, accountable, and able to always maintain confidentiality. 
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint & Excel and Outlook
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to collaborate and foster a culture of continuous improvement in line with Believe’s guiding principles.
