Job Description

Responsibilities:​

 1 – People

You will be tasked to build, manage and develop the best trained team of support /sales functions managers in the local music industry.

  1.  Deploy local organization according to global and local guidelines to best serve clients.
  2.  Hire, manage and develop senior managers in distribution team:
  3. Work closely with:
    • Local head Editorial and Marketing Partnership
    • Local head(s) of Video/Channel Management
    • Local Customer Support.
  4. Set and manage OKRs for all support functions, Sales and marketing managers and staff
  5. Deploy employee development/training & develop the Believe culture in your team.
  6. Create strong relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels
  7. Work closely with colleagues on cross-business opportunities and other internal teams

2 – Strategy

You will be tasked to build the sales & marketing strategy in partnership with the local head of distribution sales and Central distribution team.

  1. Build sales strategy (services, pricing, economics, communication, etc) for distribution business.
  2. Work with regional leaders/distribution sales teams to build budgets and P&Ls aligned with sales & marketing strategy.
  3. Explore new business opportunities.
  4. Work with MD/MDO to build M&A Strategy.
  5. Build sales strategy for in-house labels/catalogs to drive the market share/revenue.
  6. Develop strong partnership with DSPs’ in the country to increase marketing, thus increasing market share.
  7. Understand the competitive landscape and market trends
  8. Understand and effectively communicate the company's value prop, tech, process and current partnerships

3 – Execution

You will be responsible to adapt and execute Believe’s global and GC strategy in your market for both Artist and Label distribution. As such, you will have primary responsibility for artist and label satisfaction, for the P&L of each business line and for your countries global P&L. You will share this responsibility with the MD/MDO.

  1. Manage sales & marketing to budget for all three main business lines (sourcing, qualification, sales and marketing) closely & efficiently.
  2. Organize & manage serve efforts closely and efficiently to Best develop and serve artists and labels
  3. Coordinate with regional leaders/ regional distribution sales teams to improve and adapt customer product to market
  4. Coordinate with regional leaders/ distribution sales teams to optimize local & global workflows to best serve artists & labels
  5. Organize internal, external communication & branding to support business growth

4 – Measurement

You will be responsible to deploy local performance measurement in accordance with global guidelines for sales and marketing

  1. Set and drive OKRs for sales & marketing team in coordination with regional leaders.
  2. Develop, measure KPIs and report KPIs to drive the business

  • Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor’s share, and competitor’s strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams, for both technical and non-technical audiences
