Now you have the opportunity to become a major player in the DIY Independent Music scene as TuneCore is seeking a Performance Marketing Specialist. Reporting to the Senior Director of Client Marketing, the Performance Marketing Specialist will lead growth initiatives for TuneCore’s artist customer base through paid search (SEM) and social advertising.  Owning all of the day-to-day management of paid media and developing strategies to optimize campaign performance, the Performance Marketing Specialist will be a key contributor to growing new TuneCore clients across the globe. 

Job Description


·       Own paid media campaign planning, strategy, execution, and optimization

·       Directly manage PPC campaigns including bids and budgets, regularly optimizing keywords and creative

·       Devise and execute on strategic channel initiatives to drive efficient growth both domestically and in international markets

·       Optimize marketing programs by performing detailed reporting on performance, analyzing data and extracting key insights/next steps. Identify program risks and optimization recommendations

·       Responsible for managing channel budgets and leveraging analytics to implement optimization to meet CPA and spend targets

·       Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies

·       Drive a meaningful impact to the company's success

Facilitate regular, ongoing communication with cross-functional teams



·       1-3 years of work experience in online advertising, direct marketing, or e-commerce

·       Experience with Google Ads & Facebook/Instagram Ads

·       Experience with website analytics tools such as Google Analytics

·       Experience manipulating data with Excel

·       Confidently and independently manage campaigns from start to finish



·       You’re at your best in a fast-paced, startup type environment

·       You love the hustle of teamwork, but have a proven track record as an individual contributor

·       You have experience in the music industry and a true passion for music



·       You have experience in Mobile advertising

·       You have experience with International and/or Global Marketing

·       You have knowledge of project management tools such as Asana and Jira
