As the Global Licensing Director, you will be responsible for leading and negotiating all of our Believe Group license deals with our Digital Music Services. You will work closely with all relevant internal stakeholders including Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, Data etc in-order to implement the deals. This is a senior position. More specifically, you will accomplish the following missions:
Draft and negotiate complex and often first-of-kind digital music licensing deals
Take an innovative approach to negotiation, based on our missions and goals
Define strategy, main terms and identify approach to negotiation with our Digital Music Services
Analyse the performance of our existing deals, and the potential of new deals to determine deal economics
Liaise with all relevant internal stakeholders in-order to implement license deals: Sales, Supply Chain, Reporting, Finance, legal, Tax, Data etc
Work with local MD's and key internal stakeholders to monitor and map Digital Music Services in all key markets to identify new opportunities and create a pipeline of new services
Work closely with Data team to ensure compliance of deal terms and conditions
Implement and oversea licensing for all Subsidiaries under Believe Group
Lead the licensing team, setting quarterly objectives, and monitoring results
Work with the Chief Communications Officer to organise and lead licensing communication both internally and externally
Minimum of 7 years of experience in Music Licensing, with a proven track record of drafting and negotiating DSP contracts
