We’re looking for a life guard to come and join our team on a fixed term contract for the season ahead of us. You will ensure our guests have a fun and safe experience, creating a place where they want to be and ensure that all health & safety procedures are adhered to. Demonstrate care & pro-activeness with looking after our guests and the outside pool areas

Priorities:

• Overseeing our outdoor pool areas at Bedruthan Spa
• Provide adequate pool side services, in line with the Company operating and health & safety standards
• Ensure health & safety procedures are adhered and in line with the normal operating procedure (NOP)
• To carry out emergency procedures in line with the company’s emergency action plan (EAP) and follow the accident reporting procedure
• Be passionate about great guest care
• Flow with the day, being adaptable to a fast-paced environment
• Be punctual, professional and communicate honestly and openly
• Be flexible to suit the needs of the business
• Maintain company ethics and policies

Requirements:

• A relevant and up to date National Pool Lifeguard qualification (NLPQ) with appropriate first aid and resuscitation qualifications.
• Guest focused approach – professionally informal style that leaves guests feeling hosted and held
• Desire to deliver a unique and genuine experience
• Have a one team approach with a focus on building long lasting and meaningful relationships
• Passion for wellbeing, sustainability, and the environment

o £11.50 per hour

o Fixed term contract offering 25 to 35 hours per week

o Working hours: 8.30am – 6.30pm with a 2 days on/2 days off shift rotation

o 28 days holiday per year (29 after 1 year)
