Job Description

The role:

As Digital Marketing Executive you will have strong marketing knowledge and experience across the full marketing mix as you will be responsible for bringing to life the brand and marketing strategy for Red Hotels across all digital channels. Working closely with the Brand and Marketing Manager and Marketing Assistant you will develop, implement and measure the marketing and communications programme, to enhance the companies image, position and commercial performance across all online channels.

What you’ll do (but not limited to):

  • You will be responsible for supporting the development and leading the execution of the content plan for the hotels and sub brands
  • Campaign planning and execution in line with planned activity and department objectives
  • Oversee and contribute to the creation of content, written and visual to fulfil the content plan objectives and deliver creative, compelling and commercially driven results
  • Seamlessly integrate and share content across multiple channels, including email, social media, websites, paid media, internal and printed collateral
  • You will oversee and write content that is SEO focused to improve organic website visibility and build brand awareness
  • Source and manage content to ensure the company is combing sales and lifestyle marketing in a balanced and relevant way
  • Responsibility for website updates and ensuring all content is accurate and on point. And making recommendations for improving the usability, design, content and conversion of the websites and content platforms
  • Manage all third-party content online, to ensure it is up to date and representative of the brand and identify new opportunities
  • Support the build of internal and external email communication and database management.
  • Working with the Brand and Marketing Manager and Marketing Assistant to implement a successful social media, community management and content strategy on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter (primarily), organically and through paid campaigns
  • Be confident in creating and editing imagery and video for social media and use on online brand channels as well as coordinating and overseeing external photoshoots
  • Creation of captions, images and video (or use existing asset or source new), for use on social media. Focusing on the overall look and feel of the social media accounts in line with the brand guidelines
  • Some prior use or knowledge of software including (but not limited to) CRM systems, HootSuite, Monday.com, Adobe Creative Suite, online design resources (e.g. Canva), CMS, hospitality-specific software (PMS)
  • Work with the Graphic Designer to come up with creative ways to engage with our customers visually across all digital channels
  • Report on project progress and outcomes to Brand and Marketing Manager on a monthly basis, using reporting tools, and Google Analytics in place. Regularly analysing the ROI and ensure targets are being achieved
  • Continuous review and development of all online channels to maximise sales and improve the customer experience
  • Keep up to date with the latest technology in digital marketing and make suitable recommendations
  • Undertake continuous analysis of the competitor environment and consumer trends and feed these back to the business
  • To ensure all image galleries and central resources are updated and available to the hotels.
  • Support on the coordination and running special events and projects such as the Spring Fayre, open-air theatre and new product launches.

Qualifications

About you:

  • Strong marketing experience working across the full marketing mix on brand-led creative campaigns and content creation
  • Creative eye to ensure all communication is delivered in line with our brand guidelines
  • Confidence in copywriting and branding with a keen eye for detail
  • Have a keen interest in Bars / Restaurants / Spa / Hospitality / lifestyle marketing and sustainability
  • Familiar with hotel operations – always beneficial
  • Should have a full driving licence so you can get out and about to gather content when needed.
  • You are methodical and process-driven but also able to work flexibly and calmly to meet deadlines and deliver an excellent guest experience
  • You have the ability to take ownership, problem solve and make effective decisions
  • You will work positively and collaboratively to achieve the highest standards
  • You are up for trying new things
