The role:

This is a great role if you are looking to start your journey in marketing. Working with an energetic team in a fast moving department, you will play a vital role in supporting the marketing team to deliver creative, strategic and commercial marketing activity both on and offline. This role will enable you to build an excellent understanding of all marketing functions.

What you’ll need to do (but not limited to:

  • To develop the weekly marketing schedule, ensuring delivery of all creative projects marketing activity in line with the agreed marketing budgets, plans and deadlines.
  • To manage the creative marketing briefs, liaising with the Brand and Marketing Manager and Graphic Designer to ensure all marketing briefs for agreed campaigns are detailed, objective driven and aligned with the marketing plan.
  • Development and management of a company web to print system, including training, and the updating of content and creative assets.
  • Coordinate and implement all press stays, press events and press stays.
  • Support on the coordination and running special events and projects such as the Christmas Fayre, outdoor theatres and new product launches.
  • To support on social media and content development on a daily basis, gathering video and photographic content and creative copy writing for the blog.
  • Update website and event content, conducting weekly reviews to ensure all content online is up to date, relevant and representative of the brand.
  • Manage all third party content online, to ensure it is up to date and representative of the brand.
  • Support on the email build of internal and external communication and database management.
  • Working with the relevant marketing contacts to collate the monthly reports and KPI statistics.
  • Conduct market research to determine market requirements for future and existing projects.
  • Competitor monitoring and reporting – bars, spas, hotels, restaurants and lifestyle partners on a monthly basis and feeding this back to your manager.
  • To proof all creative marketing assets to ensure they are free of errors and aligned with the brand guidelines.
  • To ensure brand guidelines are adhered to and realised in all marketing communications, centrally, in hotel and when used by third parties.
  • To ensure all image galleries and central resources are updated and available to the hotels.

Qualifications

You are:

  • Passionate about marketing and looking to learn more
  • Have a keen interest for Bars / Restaurants / Spa / Hospitality / lifestyle marketing
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Familiar with hotel operations – always beneficial
  • Ability to communicate clearly at all levels
  • A eye for detail, excellent spelling and grammar
  • Strong pc software knowledge and skills
  • A creative background and ability to create good photographic, video and written content
  • Some experience of Google Analytics and content management platforms
  • Team player
  • Self-sufficient with drive
  • Proactive

Additional Information

We offer:

  • £18,000 to £20,000 per annum
  • 12 month contract of 42.5 hours per week
