Bedruthan is set in a natural playground with the beach just below us and some amazing facilities at the hotel itself. You can stroll along the foreshore, get a surf lesson or two and walk the cliff path to Bedruthan Steps – one of the north coast’s most dramatic beauty spot.

As a Bakery specialist you will be responsible for the day-to-day service of our new Bake Bakery concept and ensuring Red Hotels local neighbourhood bakery is a success. You will be a motivated individual who will be passionate about promoting our new concept to hotel residents, locals in the community and potential new customers whilst delivering the bakery’s day-to-day service. As part of our creative team, this will be largely retail driven and require a sales and service driven individual who will thrive on sales and guest retention results.

Here’s the exciting bit our new bakery will provide a wide range of crafted baked goods, moreish coffee, WOW moment celebration cakes, high end patisserie items, frozen meal solutions and picnic baskets amongst other products using the finest of ingredients.

You will work with our marketing team providing content and stories for them to share daily. This will not only support the launch of our new bakery but also our customer engagement and awareness to our local communities. You and your team will be part of the reason people return friendly, engaging and warm your individual charm will support our loyalty scheme. All of our goods/products will have a story and person behind them and your role will be to bring these to life with every interaction.

Responsibilities:

• Support the launch of our new bakery product working with our internal teams
• You will take an active role in helping us understand our weekly and forward sales so we can measure the success of this new concept
• Work closely with our bakers to ensure your knowledge of each and every item is robust, impressive and deliverable
• Ensure our marketing team are provided with strong aspirational content
• Establish and review procedures for guest ordering and delivery of products

• Minimum of three years’ experience in a hospitality food role at a supervisory level
• Experience working in a commercial sales environment  
• Genuine interest in baking, cookery and all things delicious
• Ability to understand, communicate and drive a positive sales culture
• Take responsibility for your own workload
• A creative outlook and interest in creative learning
• Excellent written and communication skills
• General food hygiene certificate

• £21,500 per annum
• Start date to be confirmed closer to re-opening.
• Permanent contract of 40 hours per week, wokring 5 out of the 7 days and will include weekends.
