Job Description

Red Hotels are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Team Leader to oversee all duties performed by our housekeeping teams. The Housekeeping Team Leader’s responsibilities include assigning tasks to the housekeeping staff and delivering exceptional levels of cleanliness across the Bedruthan and Scarlet Hotel. 

You will be a supportive, inspirational team leader and be able to ensure that the housekeeping operations run efficiently and effectively. Essential to the role is housekeeping experience, good verbal, written English and basic computer skills. You will also need to be organised, flexible and a fantastic communicator.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Day to day supervision and coaching of our Housekeeping Team.
  • Maintaining consistent high standards throughout both properties.
  • Running the department in the absence of our Housekeeping Managers.
  • Train the housekeeping team on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standards.
  • Check rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas, for cleanliness levels.
  • Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence.
  • Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur.

Qualifications

  • 2 Years experience in a supervisory role.
  • Proven housekeeping or hospitality experience.
  • Excellent organisational and team management skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Effective communication skills.

Additional Information
