Key responsibilities are:

• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned to a very high standard every day at the end of service.
• To be aware of and practice the correct storage of produce.
• Work with the entire kitchen team to ensure that all kitchen cleanliness standards are adhered to.
• Contribute to the experience the kitchen team delivers, showing a desire to develop your skills and be part of an enthusiastic team that is known for excellence.
• Can be relied upon by team members to fulfil any task assigned to the best of their ability.
• Ensure that the plate and pot wash are clean and organised at all times.
• Ensure that all cleaning is done in line with agreed standards and in a timely fashion
• Ensure that all waste is removed from the kitchen and disposed of in line with agreed practises
• Ensure that hot plates and crockery stores are stocked in line with business levels.
• Following the weekly and monthly cleaning duties list.
• Operation of dishwasher machines. Hand washing of cooking equipment.

The best applicant will have a natural passion for hospitality with a warm, friendly manner, be able to positively respond to feedback and complete tasks within a specified time. When joining a busy kitchen brigade you will need to be a team player, reliable and have a good sense of humour. This is an active role so lots of energy is vital.
