Job Description

  • Performs various tasks within the Receiving/Warehouse department based on assessed skill levels. Works in concert with other department team members to meet internal and external customer needs.
  • Safely operates powered industrial forklifts in a warehouse and a high traffic production environment.
  • Must adhere to all documented policies and procedures including but not limited to safety inspections, GMP requirements, use of safety equipment.
  • Operates yard tractor
  • Performs goods receipts in SAP and understands Receiving / Warehouse procedures.
  • Follows all quality procedures for non-conforming materials and special handling requirements.
  • Maintains inventory accuracy levels consistent with SAP requirements through good inventory practices and verified by a cycle counting program
  • Maintains sufficient supply of raw materials to ensure a continuous flow of production.
  • Follows all quality procedures for non-conforming materials and special handling requirements.
  • Interacts with production personnel to ascertain timing of product changes to ensure timely delivery of new materials and accurate returns of old materials to the warehouse
  • Daily activities include; stocking box room, picking daily stock requirements and timely unloading of incoming raw materials
  • Maintains good housekeeping of warehouse, material kitting areas, and receiving dock. Notifies supervisor of problems and damages

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
