Job Description

Beaullieu & Associates, is seeking candidates for a Service Desk Specialist position located in North San Antonio.  This is a contract to hire engagement with a global, San Antonio based organization.

JOB SUMMARY: The key responsibilities of the Service Desk Specialist include helping provide first level support to end users. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
•    Effectively and timely resolve and/or re-assign all Service Desk incidents/requests.
•    React to high priority incidents and initial support to all levels of personnel.
•    Troubleshoot and diagnose a wide variety of issues.
•    Receive, set up, deliver, upgrade and image desktop systems.
•    Provide remote and local support to PC users.
•    Train new employees or existing employees on new equipment.
•    Install, configure, maintain and upgrade business-specific software applications as required.
•    Perform installation and configuration of hardware components such as memory, Ethernet cards, hard drives, etc.
•    •    Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
•    Superior customer service support skills.
•    Ability to analyze problems, resolve issues, and document resolutions in the knowledge system.
•    Experience with Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft Office products, and PC/printer repair required.
•    Troubleshooting skills with hardware and software. Ability to independently research unresolved issues.
•    Good diagnostic troubleshooting in person and over the phone.
•    Proven ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
•    Ability to communicate effectively with all employees, managers, and clients.
•    Attention to detail and organizational skills.
•    Ability to handle daily tasks with many interruptions.
