Job Description

Background

We are looking for a full-time Lead Designer who will lead from brand identity development to UI and UX design, in order to realize the vision of Beatrust through the power of design. Currently, a UI designer with overseas product design experience is in charge of this project on a part-time basis, but having decided to pilot the closed beta in several large companies, we feel that the timing is right for a full-time designer to join our team. You will be involved in every aspect where design is effective in creating an intuitive and familiar user experience for a wide range of users.

Job Description

As a Lead Designer, you will be responsible for all aspects of design, from product UI and UX design to brand identity, presentation slides and novelties, as Beatrust seeks to become a service used not only domestically, but also globally.

Since our target audience of large enterprises comprises of a wide age range of users, design is a key factor in creating internal collaboration that can be used comfortably by all users regardless of their digital literacy.

Therefore, you will be involved from the development of the design concept while facing our clients to create a product that our users will love. In addition, you will be able to flexibly work on design work and coding with external partners to create the best UI and UX.

Our Product

Beatrust is a product that enables employees at large companies to discover colleagues in different departments with similar interests and skills, and gives them tools to collaborate on projects.

In the future, we aim to provide a platform that makes it possible to visualize human resources between companies and to collaborate with the required people beyond company and country boundaries.

What you'll be doing

  • Conduct user research, data analysis, and user testing, translating insights into tangible solutions for our product
  • Design a UX that is simple, elegant, and solves real user problems
  • Develop brand design based on Beatrust's envisioned future
  • Incorporate complex processes into an intuitive and clean UI Design for various features (PC / SP / SP app)
  • Conceptualize, design and produce graphic designs that align with the Beatrust brand
  • Direct design work through collaboration with cross-functional teams

What you can expect to gain

Consequently, you will be able to engage in product design from a global standard perspective and be in the position to lead the design of a product that will have a significant impact on both domestic and international clients

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Experience as a Lead Designer for a widely recognized product
  • Experience in UX design, including user interviews and customer journey mapping
  • A daily habit of researching product designs throughout the world
  • Conversational Japanese

Preferred Qualifications

  • Head of Design or similar work experience
  • Experience as a Lead Designer for a B2C product with over 1 million users
  • Experience in product design outside of Japan
  • Experience leading projects in corporate branding
  • Experience with front-end coding
  • Business-level Japanese
