Job Description

Bay State Community Services Continuum program is looking for a Youth Outreach Worker to be responsible for assisting clients ages 6-18 with coping, social and self-care skills in their homes and communities.  Responsible to take youth enrolled in Continuum program out in to the community to participate in recreational and pr-social activities.   Youth Outreach Worker also provides extensive collateral work with all professionals as well as liaison work with support to parents/guardians. 

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to maintain schedule
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team 
  • Flexible schedule to meet needs of clients 
  • Ability to work in diverse settings including homes, schools, hospitals and group homes
  • Experience working with the Department of Mental Health and Department of Children and Families
  • Complete all documentation in a timely manner
  • Maintain and follow the policies and procedures of agency and program
  • Receive and respond to supervision
  • Punctuality and consistent attendance required
  • Worker will demonstrate senior level skills and be able to work independently
  • Experience with child and adolescent population and experience in clinical settings


***MUST have car to provide reliable transportation in the community***

  • Function as part of a team and complete all documentation in a timely manner
  • Worker will demonstrate senior level skills and be able to work independently
  • Experience withchild and adolescent population with mental illness and experience in clinical settings
  • Bachelors degree in Counseling, Psychology or related field preferred

Flexibility in schedule, must be able to work nights and Saturdays
