We're looking for an extremely driven Account Executive to help fuel Baton's early stage growth. This means you're a versatile, creative, and tenacious thought partner who will play a critical role in helping us engage and sell to some of the top executives in the freight industry. Our team isn't afraid to do what it takes to get the job done - whether that's flying out last minute to have dinner with a customer to help close the deal, or calling every one in our network to find a mutual connection with a critical decision maker. One of our core principles doing whatever it takes to maximize the quality of interactions with our customers by doing research on their businesses and offering quality insights into how we can help.

Your role: Account Executive

  • Be a trusted advisor in articulating how we are helping our potential buyers’ peers at similar companies be successful by knowing Baton’s value proposition, services, and best-in-class execution.
  • Leverage best in class Sales techniques targeting C-level executives at top trucking companies
  • Partner with the Founders to hone in on ideal customer profiles.
  • Maintain advisor and channel relationships to secure the right buyer conversations.
  • Effectively utilize our Salesforce CRM system to ensure our activity is entered for account history, knowledge sharing, tracking, forecasting, and notification reminders for follow-up.

Where you live: Willing to commute to San Francisco 1 to 2 weeks per month

Basic Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years in freight
  2. 8+ years in consultative enterprise sales
  3. Bachelors degree
