We’re looking for a top-notch Senior Account Manager to manage relationships with our carrier customers, who are primarily top-10 mega fleets. This means you're a versatile thought partner who will play a critical role in shaping how we do account management at Baton. You'll need to be scrappy, organized, and an incredible people person who knows how to build and maintain strong relationships with customers. We're looking for people who work hard and are driven to make a difference in the freight industry.

Your role: Senior Account Manager

  • Manage stakeholder relationships at top-10 mega-fleet customers
  • Create and maintain strategic account plans for all accounts
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer accounts, including both freight mix and org structure
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with the Baton product, and ensure customers enjoy working with the Baton team
  • Plan and execute how to grow accounts while maintaining profitability
  • Project manage all parts of managing a customer account

Where you live: Chicago

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years in freight
  • 6+ years in account management
  • 3+ years working with carriers
  • Bachelors degree

Nice to have:

  • Worked for freight-tech company
