Job Description

Are you excited by working on the cutting edge of data-driven marketing? At Obviously AI, they believe marketing and messaging is a key driver of business success. That's why they are looking for an experienced growth marketing strategist who can lead marketing strategies and execution by creating high fidelity data driven plans.

You will be deeply involved in setting up their first paid ads infrastructure, A/B testing what works well, and exploring, identifying & creating sustainable acquisition channels for their ideal customer persona. You will have full independence to come up with creative marketing strategies that drive growth in lead acquisition and revenue. You will work very closely with the head of content, design and sales teams along with the CEO to build and execute on your ideas.

Responsibilities

  • Lead customer acquisition initiatives by strategizing and executing growth marketing campaigns via paid, organic, social and search ads.
  • Analyze and optimize campaign performance across major platforms like Twitter, Linkedin, Blog, Google Search, etc.
  • Work with Sales team to develop tactical growth strategies for client accounts
  • Prepare reporting with clear insights and actionable next steps
  • Analyze and recommend new copy & creative using both qualitative and quantitative metrics
  • Website optimization including A/B testing, email collection, landing page customization
  • Segment and run paid ads and marketing experiments for different audiences.
  • Lifecycle marketing including email marketing, referral programs, loyalty programs
  • Build multi-channel marketing strategies to drive incremental results that directly impact the top line of clients’ businesses
  • Oversee the implementation of digital marketing campaigns on paid social channels (e.g. Twitter, Linkedin, etc.), direct response channels and email marketing campaigns
  • Analyze and extract meaningful marketing insights from various channels and analytics platforms
  • Measure each experiment, document findings, share broadly within the company and make recommendations for future use.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in digital marketing / growth marketing.
  • Deep understanding of scientific method to build hypothesis and run a data driven approach to draw conclusions.
  • 3+ years experience in performance marketing, digital marketing or growth marketing.
  • History of making business decisions with quantitative rigor and adept in supporting skill sets such as: Excel, data visualization and statistical analysis.
  • Project management experience, including setting project objectives, determining a roadmap, and using planning skills/tools to drive success of initiatives.
  • Exceptional leadership skills demonstrated through either: experience managing and leading teams or peer mentorship. (e.g. previous founder, product manager, etc.)
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to clearly communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Good understanding of Data Analytics software market is important.
  • Further understanding of today's Machine Learning / AutoML market will be nice to have.
  • Experience at a fast growing-startup is a nice to have.
