Job Description

As the Business Development Manager you will drive the expansion of NexHealth's largest and most visible strategic partners. You will manage all aspects of making their partnerships successful by helping launch new partnerships, hitting monthly and quarterly goals, and working with partners to unlock new ways to scale business outcomes and deepen relationships. This role requires a dedicated focus on execution. You will keep yourself and partners organized and accountable. It will also be your job to identify new opportunities with partners and build excitement and buy-in both within NexHealth and outside. 

The ideal candidate has a demonstrated record of managing cross-functional projects with diverse stakeholders. They can anticipate opportunities and risks. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of NexHealth's most visible strategic partnerships
  • Develop working relationships at all levels of the partner’s organization
  • Identify opportunities by understanding the partner’s business, industry, customers, and goals
  • Anticipate and manage operational and organizational risks that could put things off-course
  • Be an advocate for the partner to internal stakeholders at NexHealth, and collaborate with their Product, Marketing, Risk, Customer Success, and Communications teams to drive outcomes
  • Be incredibly close to performance data and use insights to drive decisions
  • Help launch new partnerships and facilitate seamless transitions from deal-close to launch to post-launch success

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience in strategic or product partnerships, or business development
  • At least 2 years of demonstrated experience in sales or pitching with successful revenue outcomes (e.g., closing new clients, launching new initiatives with partners)
  • Data-driven orientation and ability to efficiently draw insights 
  • Ability to stay extremely well-organized and drive projects effectively with lots of autonomy
  • A strong intuition for interpersonal and organizational dynamics
  • Careful attention to detail in every work product and interaction
  • Deep desire to grow: curiosity to identify areas of development, and receive and give feedback
  • BA/BS required
