Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform production related activities per work instructions.
• Assemble surgical stretchers, surgical chairs, beds for Senior Living facilities and homecare beds.
• Read and interpret diagrams and specifications to determine assembly instructions.
• Work with basic hand tools and portable power tools.
• Ensure that production processes are carried out in accordance with established safety and quality standards.

Lead Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Assembly Department.
• Assign, monitor and review progress and accuracy of work.
• Train new employees.
• Ensure team members are supplied with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
• Maintain regular communication with department supervisors and interrelated departments.

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
• 2 + years of experience in production or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of production processes.
• Excellent organizational skills, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft and other related software.
