Job Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters
  • Provide critical assessment of all budgets and cost projections 
  • Analyze invoices to ensure correct products/services were received within expected cost
  • Assist in the development of project control procedures and solutions for capital project delivery
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Control Engineers to develop project estimates 
  • Coordinate earned value analysis, audits, invoice / pay application reviews of select client vendors and subcontractors
  • Assist with project related contract negations, interfacing with vendors and legal, as needed
  • Update and build internal standards for financial project cost controls
  • Build performance capacity in core consulting skills by increasing expertise in BCI services
  • Participates in shaping BCI’s future through participation in the firm’s quarterly objectives 

 

Qualifications

Minimum

  • Minimum of one year working with project cost controls 
  • Experience working within a collaborative team or work environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of principles of successful relationship management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills
  • A high level of motivation, self-starting attitude, and mature judgment
  • Well organized with an aptitude for data
  • Able to generate budgets and reports
  • A strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit

Preferred

  • A bachelor’s degree, preferred: Engineering, Accounting or Finance
  • Working knowledge of Project Management methodology and terms
