We are currently seeking a team-oriented Structural engineer to join our Facilities group. This will be a full-time position and located in our Syracuse/Liverpool office.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting senior engineering staff with project site investigations;

• Structural analysis and design;

• Preparation of design reports;

• Preparation of engineering drawings;

• Production of specifications; and

• Verification of construction projects for compliance with plans and specifications

This position requires frequent coordination and interaction with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, sub-consultants, and municipal officials.

Candidates should have a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 1-5 years of applicable experience in the design of steel and concrete structures; experience with NYS Building Codes is preferred. Candidates must be proficient in technical writing and possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact within a project team and external clients. Registration as an Intern Engineer (I.E.) in NY (or eligibility to obtain) is desired and experience in the consulting engineering field is preferred.
