Baresque Group is an Australian privately owned company that designs, manufactures and distributes premium wallcoverings, furniture and acoustic solutions worldwide. 

We pride ourselves on in house product development with a network of industrial design, engineering and production experts in the team. We partner with manufacturing facilities in Australia, America, Europe and Asia to produce our designs locally to the market.  

This key role is responsible for ensuring successful development and release of new products into the international market. This entails following good product development procedures, meticulous attention to detail with no stone unturned, organised workflow and communication within the team. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Engineer new products and materials for international manufacture through Solidworks 3D modelling. Concepts will be presented to engineering department from Design department 
• Self-manage development process from start to finish with guidance from manager 
• Create 2D drawing packages for manufacture using Solidworks 
• Prototype and test new products with emphasis on manufacturability 
• Generate support documents ie. install guides, marketing collateral 
• Organise and maintain shared product files within company intranet 

• Proficient in Solidworks 3D modelling and 2D drawing 
• Experience in Manufacturing and/or Product Engineering 
• Hands on experience with manufacturing tools and machines 
• Have an understanding of manufacturing and product development principles, techniques, and best practices 
• Ideally knowledge in CNC programming 
• Experience with Adobe Suite (particularly Illustrator)
