Job Description

This position plays a crucial role in contributing to the achievement of the businesses sales goals by handling various tasks, coordinating activities, and maintaining accurate records.

As a member of the Sales Support team, you will work with the sales and  design team to help give our customers the best experience . Key elements of the role include: 

  • Breaking Business Development Manager quoting requirements down and tailoring response in line with division capabilities
  • Quoting, invoicing, issuing deposit and balance of payment requests and any general processing required for augmented and custom projects
  • Accurate entry of customer quotes and orders within company guidelines
  • Accurate creation of product codes and information
  • Invoicing
  • Tracking of customer orders at all stages through to delivery
  • Feedback to BDM’s on order status
  • Facilitating BDM requests
  • Providing supplier feedback to Product Managers on product phase outs and discontinuations
  • Correct identification of order details:
    • Designer
    • Project name
    • Project type
  • Correct allocation and reallocation of orders to relevant BDM’s
  • Accurate identification of business issues and suitable completion non-con Jobs
  • Identification and appropriate action in relation to account customer limits
  • Basic estimating and augmenting products/ setting up accurate product descriptions for non- standard items

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in administrative support or a related role ideally within the building products, furniture or specification industry
  • Familiarity with sales processes and terminology is advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
  • Excellent communication, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Customer-oriented mindset and a willingness to assist in achieving business goals
  • A positive, fun and open can-do attitude. 

Additional Information

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000
