Do you enjoy working on vehicles, solving problems and getting hands-on with automotive products?

We're looking for an Automotive Product Development & Warehouse Technician to join our Specialist Wholesale Group (SWG) team in Springvale.

This is a unique opportunity combining automotive product development, prototype testing and warehouse operations. You'll work closely with our Product Development team to help test, evaluate and improve automotive products while also supporting the day-to-day operation of our warehouse.

No two days are the same. One day you could be assisting with prototype fitment and suspension testing, the next supporting stock movements, warranty assessments or product evaluations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Prototype fitting and product testing
• Collecting vehicle, suspension and wheel-alignment data
• Supporting new product development projects
• Conducting practical product assessments and evaluations
• Assisting with warranty inspections and fault diagnosis
• Reading technical drawings and work instructions
• Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders
• Receiving and managing inventory
• Supporting stock control and warehouse operations
• Working closely with product, warranty and warehouse teams

What We're Looking For

We're open to candidates from a variety of automotive backgrounds, including:

• Automotive Technician or Mechanic
• 4WD or Accessory Fitter
• Suspension or Wheel Alignment Technician
• Trade Assistant
• Parts Interpreter with strong mechanical knowledge
• Motorsport or Fabrication experience
• Mechanically minded warehouse professionals

You'll also bring:

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Current Driver Licence
• Forklift Licence
• Great attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• A proactive, hands-on approach
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
