Job Description

As a Parts Interpreter, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, helping identify the right parts and providing expert support to keep commercial vehicles on the road.

Working closely with customers, suppliers and warehouse teams, you'll deliver outstanding service while contributing to the success of the branch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and identify heavy vehicle parts requirements
  • Assist trade, fleet and workshop customers with parts enquiries
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare quotations and follow up sales opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure timely fulfilment of orders
  • Respond to stock availability and inventory enquiries
  • Support branch sales and customer service objectives
  • Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who enjoys helping customers, building relationships and being part of a high-performing team.

To be successful, you'll bring:

  • Previous Parts Interpreting experience within automotive, truck, commercial vehicle or related industries (highly regarded)
  • Strong customer service and sales skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Good computer and administration skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Mechanical aptitude or an interest in vehicles and transport
  • A current driver's licence
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
