Job Description
We are currently seeking a qualified HSSE Advisor, to join our team, based out of Bethune, SK. As we continue to expand our national footprint, we’re proud to build a long‑term presence in Saskatoon. Our new Saskatoon office is a strategic cornerstone in our multi‑sector growth plan, enabling us to support mining, energy transition, and industrial projects across Saskatchewan and Western Canada. Bantrel is working with K+S Potash Canada (K+S) as an Integrated Project Management Team (IPMT) to expand production at K+S’s Bethune solution potash mine near Moose Jaw and Regina, Saskatchewan. The final production capacity is intended to grow over the next decades to 4M tonnes per year, doubling the current production output of potash. Key team members will support the project from the K+S head office in Saskatoon and at Bethune mine, with additional support from Calgary, Edmonton, and Toronto as required.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor site activities for compliance with safety standards and legislation.
- Conduct hazard assessments and participate in safety training.
- Support incident investigations and reporting.
- Collaborate with project teams to continuously improve safety performance.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional safety designation such as NCSO, CRSP, or equivalent is considered an asset. Additional safety training (e.g., fall protection, confined space, emergency response) is beneficial.
- 3–5 years of experience in construction safety or industrial health and safety roles, with a strong understanding of provincial OH&S legislation and environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with all levels of project personnel. Strong organizational and time management abilities.
