Job Description

 

  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Welcome all guests as if they were arriving in your own home.
  •  Register guests, and modify any information required to complete the registration process.
  • Confirm credit and payment method at check-in.
  • Directs guests to daily functions within the hotel campus.
  • Directs guests to area events, businesses and attractions.
  • Log all guest requests and confirm completion.
  •  Review hotel inventory and house count for availability and rates.
  •  Balance and prepare individual paperwork for closing of shift.
  •  Maintain and market special guest programs.
  •  Run daily arrival report and mark registration cards for special requests.
  •  Distribute packages and mail to guests or inform them of receipt.
  •  Process accounts for departing guests and collect room keys.
  •  Confirm full payment at check out.
  • Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
  • Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in social sciences, English , Business Administration required. (Estate / Hotel Management is an added advantage)
  • 2-3 years of experience 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in English
  • Skilled in negotiation and dealing with complaints
  • Persistent and results-oriented
  • Possesses teamwork, leadership and facilitation skills in order to cut across many diverse functional disciplines and regional cultures.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Possess strong business acumen.
