We are looking for two passionate and customer-focused Floor Supervisors to help us deliver exceptional shopping experiences and drive sales success. This is an exciting opportunity to lead by example, support your team, and make a real impact in one of New Zealand’s most iconic department stores.
About the Role
As a Floor Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in creating a commercially successful department while ensuring every customer interaction is an opportunity to build loyalty and maximise sales potential. You’ll assist the Floor Manager with operational tasks, team leadership, and training, while maintaining world-class service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales through welcoming service and expert product knowledge.
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences at every opportunity.
- Support day-to-day operations, including stock management and merchandising.
- Communicate professionally and proactively with management and colleagues.
- Assist with budgeting, reporting, and team training when required.
- Lead the floor team in the absence of the Floor Manager.
- Actively embed Ballantynes’ values into everything you do.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous Supervisor/ Management experience would be advantageous.
- A track record of successful KPI results.
- Solution focused with proven problem - solving skills.
- Proven retail experience with a strong sales focus.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to motivate and coach a team to achieve KPIs.
- Strong product knowledge and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Flexibility to work across different departments when needed.
- A proactive, positive attitude and commitment to continuous learning.
