Company Description

We are recruiting for a temporary part time or full time candidate that is interested in obtaining administrative experience in a clinic setting. The Safety Support position is an entry level position and may be re-evaluated every three months as COVID-19 recommendations evolve.

Monday-Thursday 10am-7pm and Friday 9am-6pm

The BY YOUR SIDE Safety Support role is responsible for overseeing the company’s employee’s safety at work.  Their main duty is to ensure support, safety, and safe practices within the workplace. 

The Safety Support position is an entry level position that provides administrative tasks in a clinical setting.  This position can be full or part-time and may be re-evaluated every three months as COVID19 recommendations evolve.

 The Safety Support operates in a professional and clinical environment that is responsible for supporting the Operations and Clinical Team with Health and Safety initiatives, including, but not limited to health screenings, escorting clients to and from the building, and disinfecting the clinics.  This position may also complete clerical duties while providing excellent customer service.

The Safety Support role operates in a professional and clinical environment. The employee may regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

This position’s hours of work and days vary based on the needs of clients/business. Evening, weekend work and/or overtime may be required, as needed.

Job Description

  • Maintain order and safety among the clients in the therapy environment.
  • Control and guide traffic in parking lot to ensure all clients are escorted to and from the clinic in a safe environment
  • Communicate effectively with guardians and BYS staff as children arrive or is ready for pick up.
  • Complete health screens for both clients and employees to ensure no sick parties are exposed to other individuals.
  • Log Health Screenings of Staff and Employees while maintaining a high level of HIPAA compliance.
  • Support daily cleaning procedures.
  • Stock cleaning supplies as needed.
  • Support clerical functions such as answering phones, shredding, filing, etc.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Other Duties and Special Projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to communicate fluently and effectively in both written and spoken English.
  • Ability to be on time, work effectively and efficiently with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Must be a quick learner and tech savvy.
  • Ability to take direction and show initiative.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, Work, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand for a minimum of two hours.
  • Uphold and maintain BYS core principles, policies, and procedures.
