The BI Team is part of Data Office and plays a key role in supporting data‑driven decision‑making across the organisation. Every day we work on extracting, structuring and presenting data in a way that helps the business move forward.

Reach your full potential as a Business Intelligence intern

As a BI intern, you will actively contribute to the development and improvement of dashboards, reports, data models, while working together with experienced BI professionals.

Possible internship topics include:

• Analysing business processes and translating information needs into BI solutions
• Working with data from various source systems and the Data Warehouse
• Developing and improving dashboards and reports (e.g. in Power BI)
• Supporting data quality, definitions and consistency across reports
• Exploring how BI can better support operational and strategic decision‑making
• Exploring the use of AI solutions within BI, such as AI‑supported analytics, Copilot functionality, or other innovative applications that enhance insight generation and decision‑making
  
  We believe it is important that your internship aligns with your interests and study requirements, so there is room to define your own focus together with the team.

You

• Are familiar with (or eager to learn about) tools or knowledge areas such as Power BI, SQL, AI or data modelling
• Are following a higher education programme (HBO/WO) in the fields of Data Science, Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence or Information Management
• You are an enthusiastic and motivated student with a professional attitude. You have an affinity for data, analytics and business processes, and enjoy turning data into clear insights for the business. With your strong communication skills, you are able to work well with different stakeholders in both Dutch and/or Englis

• An internship compensation of €500 gross per month, this is an all- in conpensation (based on a 40-hour workweek and HBO/WO level).
• Internship of 40 hours per week (fewer hours subject to consultation)
