Over that last ten years, BP Chargemaster has established itself as the market leader in electric vehicle charging, providing solutions for EV drivers to charge at home, at work and on the road. On our mission to make charging fast and hassle-free, our charging points have been used over 30 million times to enable around 200 million miles of zero tailpipe emission driving. We work with the world’s leading vehicle manufacturers to support their customers, as well as some of the UK’s biggest fleets, leasing companies and local authorities. We are the UK’s only fully integrated, end-to-end manufacturer and operator of charging infrastructure, and our nationwide Polar network of public charge points is recognised for its quality and reliability. Following the acquisition by BP in 2018, the company is growing rapidly and moving to a brand new, purpose-built head office and production facility in Milton Keynes in March 2020 to support this growth and allow it to capitalise on a booming electric vehicle market.
This role has been introduced to support and deliver BPCM EV charging across OEM dealerships throughout the UK. Specifically, this role will develop new business with existing clients and identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
Qualify any new inbound leads and process accordingly · Operates as the point of contact for assigned customers and develops and maintains long-term relationships with accounts · Makes sure clients receive requested products and services in a timely fashion · Communicates client needs and demands to the OEM team · Forecasts and tracks client account metrics · Manage projects within client relationships, working to carry out client goals while meeting company goals · Coordinate with staff members working on the same account to ensure consistent service · Service multiple clients concurrently, meeting deadlines and targets · Keep records of client transactions · Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) · Prepare reports on account status · Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory · Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed. UK wide remit · Over 1,000 dealerships.
Electrical installation knowledge · OEM / Dealership experience · Account management / sales experience · Analytical IT reporting skills, especially word, excel, office etc. · Knowledge of the Electric Vehicles, Automotive, Transport, and Energy markets, low · carbon transition and Climate Change, Engineering / electrical qualifications useful
