Job Description
The position is based in Le Côteau (42), France.
🌍 What is a Methods and Scheduling Manager (M/F)?
Your main responsibilities include:
- Managing the industrialisation process for vessels,
- Planning and scheduling workshop production: in compliance with safety instructions and the established schedule,
- Monitoring workshop performance,
- Optimising manufacturing methods to improve productivity,
The role is structured around two pillars:
Scheduling
- Based on the plans provided by the Design Office, define requirements for cut materials and subcontracting,
- Develop manufacturing ranges,
- Optimise production flows between workshops,
Methods
- Identify the tools required for manufacturing during the design phase and ensure their availability,
- Analyse, define, and optimise manufacturing methods (serial work and cutting optimisation),
- Draft manufacturing procedures,
- Prepare incident reports when hazardous situations are detected.
Qualifications
🧰 What skills are we looking for?
Hard Skills
With a degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering or related fields (welding, boiler-making), you have knowledge of the methodology and construction sequence of boilerwork, as well as welding processes.
You are proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks and familiar with ERP environments and the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel).
Soft Skills
Your ability to work as part of a team, your organisational skills, and your capacity to manage priorities will enable you to become fully operational in the role quickly.
