Job Description

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide excellent customer interaction and service
  • Ensuring and maintaining customer satisfaction
  • Quality assurance of work performed/delivered
  • Ensure a safe and productive operation through proper implementations and administration of company policies and procedures
  • Monitor work in process and problem vehicles in the workshop
  • Help Technicians complete repairs or take over repair if it is above the skill level of the Technician
  • Monitor comebacks, verifying that issues are addressed before vehicle is released to customer
  • Monitor the training requirements of the Manufacturer to ensure that the shop is in compliance with all requirements
  • Hold shop meeting to review policies and processes with Technicians
  • Monitor Special Tools and an effective system of controls to ensure that Special Tools are available to the Technicians when needed
  • Coordinate with the Technical Hotline to ensure the Manufacturer is aware of issues and the store is following the latest repair processes
  • Make sure the workshop is operating as efficiently as possible

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Related BMW automotive service experience
  • Strong Management Experience with proven ability to manage a staff of 10+ employees
  • Motivated and fast paced personality with serious Work Ethic
  • Excellent computer skills required (Windows, Explorer, Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent phone manners, the ability to multi task and make good decisions
