Job Description

An Opportunity To Make An Impact

Reporting to the Hiring Manager, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for executing our full life cycle recruitment process (intake, posting, sourcing, assessing and hiring talent) and will partner with managers across the organization to execute recruiting strategies in support of the BMM Logistics mission and initiatives. This individual will engage talent across a variety of sources and backgrounds to deliver on the objectives of our growing business. The Talent Acquisition Specialist must demonstrate exceptional relationship building abilities, a well-disciplined process, organizational skills as well as be equipped to engage the right talent to enhance the culture and performance of BMM Logistics.

Duties

  • Drive the entire recruitment and selection process while meeting established Talent Acquisition metrics and following hiring process guidelines
  • Develop and execute recruiting and sourcing strategies to attract exceptional talent for BMM. Build candidate pools using a variety of tools and techniques, including, but not limited to, job boards, passive database searches, events, networking employee referrals, community outreach, developing relationships with key diversity institutions and sources
  • Proficiently manage the full cycle of recruitment: sourcing, phone screening, scheduling interview, conducting interviews, soliciting feedback, preparing and extending offers
  • Manage requisitions and candidates in Applicant Tracking System and make recommendations on system improvements
  • Act as a resource to managers on hiring trends, metrics, interviewing techniques and best practices
  • Attend external events such as Spring/Fall Career Fairs to engage with diverse candidate and build pipelines for future openings
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field
  • 3+ years of full cycle recruiting experience, preferably in the logistics industry
  • Proven track record of successfully thriving and growing in a high-volume recruiting environment
  • Ability to conduct behavioral interviews to determine cultural fit within organization
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to influence decision-making and maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Hands on experience in web-based applicant tracking systems
  • Ability to travel (less than 10%)
