Job Description
General Description:
This document imaging position is responsible for preparing and scanning paper documents for conversion to electronic images, as well as providing some quality control. Quality, accuracy, and attention to detail are a must. Troubleshooting, problem solving, and reasoning skills are required. We are looking for an experienced professional for the mid-day shift (10am - 6:30pm).
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Coordinate and prepare projects for document scanning, electronic conversion, and indexing. Check specifications on the request form for accuracy, quality and time requirements.
- Preparing, scanning, and indexing documents.
- Managing data: exporting to specific formats, or importing into imaging projects.
- Perform quality control procedures
- Large format scanning experience is a plus.
- Set up new scan projects.
- Daily care of scanners.
- Troubleshooting and problem solving to resolve issues.
- Maintain inter-office paperwork – box tracking log.
- Have the willingness and ability to assist in other areas of operations upon request.
- Work with team members from other departments to accomplish tasks.
- Perform other duties as requested by Manager.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proficiency in reading, writing & communicating in English.
- Must be able to maintain record order and sequence.
- Ability to multi-task and handle high volume work periods.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Proficiency in data entry.
- Open minded approach to technology and software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Quality, accuracy, and attention to detail are a must.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility with shift availability.
- Excellent customer service, professional attitude and appearance are a must.
