Job Description

SUMMARY

The Regional Sales Director is responsible for the management and support of the Account Managers within the assigned territory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsible for goal attainment within prescribed geographic territory.

Coaches and develops Account Managers to maximize their effectiveness.

Supports Account Managers on sales leads.

Travels throughout the Region to assist in calling on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, or talks with customers in person or by phone.

Develops high level of competency in the display and demonstration of all BIOLASE products.

Is capable of quoting prices and credit terms and preparing sales contracts for orders obtained.

Is able to estimate dates of delivery to customers, based on knowledge of own firm's production and
delivery schedules.

Works directly with Management, Sales Administration to ensure Account Managers enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.

Attends and staffs trade shows as appropriate.

Responsible for ensuring that all Account Managers are trained to fill out company expense
reports and sales rep
orting forms in conjunction with the Manager, Sales Administration.

Responsible for representing BIOLASE throughout the assigned region with Account Managers.

Works with the Outside Sales team to promote and achieve BIOLASE, Inc. goals.

Represents BIOLASE in a professional and responsible manner at all times.

Assist in completion of customer order forms and leasing documents as necessary.

Investigates and resolves customer problems with Account Managers.

Assist in training Account Managers on laser use.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job is responsible for supervising the Outside Sales team throughout the assigned region. Key components of the Regional Sales Director's role are to develop, manage, assist and facilitate the needs of the Account Managers to promote the highest possible level of sales productivity.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university and a minimum of four years of successful sales management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
