Job Description

As an Associate Plant Controller in Charlotte, NC you will be a business partner with our Charlotte co-packing facility, ensure financial deliverables requirements are met in a timely manner, and define an action plan to improve the efficiency of financial processes and tools.

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Offers a clear view of co-packing performance in the US to key stakeholders: deviation actuals vs. budget by cost drivers (activity, mix, productivity, costs, etc.) 
  • Co-operate with Charlotte DC Analyst to provide consolidated view of performance to NAM DC Controller 
  • Co-operate with Saltillo Manufacturing to provide consolidated view of performance to Manufacturing
  • Delivers a wide range of business insightful information that support data driven decision-making and strategic decision on current business and new projects  
  • Challenges performance and provides recommendations for cost-saving strategies to meet targets and improve performance  
  • Anticipates: Shines the light on issues or/and opportunities (risk and opportunity analysis) to enable timely and effective action plan  
  • Yearly Operating plan and forecast report follow up (alignment with all function GSC + Commercial) 
  • Month-end closing Journal Entries for Expenses, PPV and MFG Variances, inventories (eg Goods in Transit)
  • Worker Orders Closing Process assuring the reporting of Finished Goods and activity produced
  • Weekly STDC Cost Calculation for Co-Packing in JDE
  • Working close with US headquarters (Shelton, CT) Accounting and Import/Export team
  • Assuring re-conciliation in Data System S2M/HFM as Transfer Price and Costing
  • Monthly KPIs, Expense and Inventory Reports 
  • Audit stock counts and review any variances


  • Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Accounting, or Business/relevant field 
  • Role model in ethic, transparency and confidentiality  
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities 
  • Ability to analyze on a micro and macro level 
  • Communication and presentation skills 
  • Aptitude to succeed in a high-paced and results-oriented environment. 
  • Excellent understanding and ability to learn new Information Systems and MS Excel 
  • ERP Management (JDE preferred) 
  • HFM
