Description du poste

The Continent Planner is in charge of replenishment and distribution planning for dedicated sourcing (BIC Plants or OEM suppliers)
He/she ensures inventory accuracy and availability to customers in regional hubs and local DCs, builds copacking production in collaboration with local sales teams and copacking center, and supports Supply scenarios implementation with central Supply Planners and Customer Service.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Determine on monthly basis the purchase orders according to European Demand in given scope of responsibility (Plants or OEM suppliers)
  • Prepare co-packing planning and distribution planning for replenished terms
  • Monitor and optimize finished goods inventory level in all European DC while defining action plans for overstock reduction
  • Anticipate, communicate and bring solutions for products shortages on Hubs and DC in Europe


  • English fluent
  • Education / Experience: Master's degree with 1 to 2 years experience
  • Team Player and leader
  • Able to place in “the same boat” contradictory objectives of countries and logistics
  • Customer-oriented
  • Rigorous and comfortable with figures. Able to deal with a lot of data coming from different sources
  • Sense of priority, well organized
  • Open minded (work with different countries and departments)
  • Be a self-starter, produce new ideas, adapt to changing environment
  • Good communication skills, positive attitude and strong team player
  • Good use of IT systems, particularly JDA, Excel, JDE, Cognos
  • Ability to “make it simple” in a complex environment
