Job Description

We are looking for a highly proactive Product Owner to drive the development of a risk framework for our internal algo trading systems.

As a Product Owner for our proprietary trading solutions, you will play a crucial role in shaping the vision and roadmap for our suite of risk management and compliance technical solutions. You will be responsible for managing the backlog of features, facilitating communication between teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality and value-driven product increments.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and gather user needs, ideas, and suggestions.
  • Systematize these requirements and decompose them into relevant features.
  • Conduct research, experiments, and prototyping to validate hypotheses.
  • Create and maintain the product roadmap outlining long-term strategies and plans.
  • Oversee product releases and coordinate timelines for feature deployment.
  • Manage the feature backlog, prioritizing based on business needs and user impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Trading, Technology, etc.
  • Assess the profitability of the product, analyzing value vs. costs and ROI.
  • Identify product risks and establish strategies to ensure sustainable development of the product.

Qualifications

  • Deep working background with risks, compliance, and trade surveillance within the algo trading landscape
  • 4+ years experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar in trading
  • Strong understanding of algorithmic trading and financial markets (ideally - in the role of a quant trader, software engineer, business/system analyst, risk manager, or trade support specialist).
  • Technical background in software engineering (as a software engineer, system analyst, or similar)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on delivering business value.
