Job Description

We are looking for a Finance Manager to be the internal financial control hub of our group. In this role, you'll own the full budget cycle, drive sharp plan-vs-actual analysis with budget holders, and maintain the financial control framework that keeps our business running with discipline and clarity. You'll also play a leading role in our ongoing ERP transformation and provide seamless cover for external reporting and audit activities alongside your Finance Manager peer.
This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on structure, sees the story behind the numbers, and isn't afraid to challenge budget holders constructively to drive better business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Budget Management & Plan-vs-Actual Analysis. Own the annual budget and rolling forecasts across all group entities, lead monthly variance reviews with budget holders, and consolidate group-level management accounts.
  • Daily Financial Control. Review invoices and purchase contracts against approved budgets, verify correct cost centre allocation, and monitor committed vs. available budget in real time.
  • ERP Implementation. Lead the Finance stream of our ERP project, deliver end-user training, and ensure data migration integrity.
  • Management Reporting. Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts with analytical commentary, maintain dashboards for senior management and the board, and support ad hoc modelling and scenario analysis.
  • External Reporting & Audit Support. Provide interchangeable cover to the FM – Financial Reporting & Audit on statutory accounts, IFRS workings, and audit files during leave or peak periods.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; Master's or MBA is a plus
  • Professional qualification — ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA, qualified or finalist
  • 5+ years of finance experience, with at least 2 years in management accounting or FP&A
  • Hands-on ERP experience (Odoo, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar); implementation experience is a strong plus
  • Advanced Excel and Google Sheets; Power BI or similar BI tools are a bonus
  • Solid grounding in IFRS principles
