Job Description

  • Coordinate the relationship set up with brokers, banks, and custodians, ensuring all documentation and compliance requirements are met.
  • Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with brokers, banks, custodians, data vendors, service providers.
  • Perform/supervise daily and monthly reconciliation of trades, positions, and cash balances to ensure accuracy and consistency across all accounts. 
  • Proactively identify and resolve operational issues, liaising with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth trading activities.
  • Follow and supervise implementation of procedures and controls to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with the compliance, risk and legal teams to ensure all trading activities adhere to regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Assist in the development and testing of new systems and processes to support trading activities and operational scalability.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on account statuses, operational challenges, and resolutions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a middle office, account management, trade support, or operational role within a financial services or trading firm.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, trading operations, and the regulatory landscape.
  • Experience in communicating with international clearers, custodians, and brokers (e.g. Euroclear, DTCC, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships with external partners and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and team-oriented, with a strong commitment to operational excellence.
  • Working experience with emerging markets is a huge advantage.
