Join a software center of excellence
You join BEUMER Group to become responsible for our Cyber Security activities for our portfolio of technically complex software products and projects for automated baggage handling systems and parcel sorters. These mission critical systems are installed across international airports and logistics centers as a completely essential part of daily operations 24/7/365. We have the leading products on the market, and the office in Aarhus, Denmark, is an international center of excellence within the BEUMER organization.
Cyber Security for industrial systems
Specifically, you become responsible for monitoring and implementing best practices within Cyber Security for industrial systems. Focus is on Cyber Security for the systems that we deliver to our customers. We comply with internationally recognized standards and have a process-oriented approach as Cyber Security is part of all aspects of what we do.
You will have a close dialogue with both our software product organization and our software project organization and our project IT-Infrastructure team. You will quite naturally be working closely with our Software Process Improvement department, and you will report to the Global Software Director.
Leader of a specialist team
You will be leading a small team of highly professional cyber security specialists while at the same time driving cyber security across BEUMERs global software team in close collaboration with BEUEMRs CISO team. As such you will be in dialog with group companies and product and project departments coordinating cyber security initiatives and communicating Cyber Security strategy, roadmap and best practices.
Skilled in Cyber Security
As responsible for our Cyber Security activities, your task is to enable the organization to deliver Cyber Secure software products, projects and services needed for mission critical systems. To do so, we believe you:
- Have a relevant master’s degree related to software development and/or cyber security
- Experience in analyzing a software organization's cybersecurity priorities and practices
- You have at least 2 years’ of relevant experience in the cybersecurity field.
- Previous work experience with applying or using frameworks such as ISA/IEC 62443, EU CRA, NIS2 and ISO27001/2 in an international environment.
- Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CCSK etc.) are a plus
Other than that, we would also like you to:
- Be structured, factual and have well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills with practical ability to shape the Cybersecurity agenda.
- Thrive in a fast-paced international environment with many stakeholders
- Have a good understanding of technologies and methodologies within software development
- Possess solid leadership skills and strong in stakeholder management and communication knowing how to create buy-in and setting direction.
- Have knowledge about agile software development processes, CMMI and similar methods and standards would be an advantage.
- Be PMI, IPMA or Prince2 certified or similar training/certification would be a plus.
Some travel must be expected as we are an international organisation. Therefore we expect you to communicate fluently in English.
To lead our cyber security activities, you will in addition to the above need drive, energy, and good commutation and stakeholder management skills. You have the experience to facilitate improvement initiatives and implement changes in an organization.
